Bio
Davide Greco born in 1980 in Bern, Switzerland.
I am an Italian-Swiss mixed-media artist whose work explores narrative, perception, and visual tension through a playful yet intentional visual language. Rather than focusing on decoration, my paintings are driven by ideas, observations, and underlying meaning.
Since 2024, I have dedicated an increasing focus to my painting practice, developing works inspired by everyday encounters, personal experiences, and subtle social dynamics.
Alongside my artistic work, I have been active in the film industry for more than fifteen years. As a self-taught professional, I initially trained as a cameraman and editor, later specialising in digital colour grading, a field in which I have worked for over a decade (www.davescolor.ch). I have been nominated for several awards and am a full member of the Colorist Society International.
I also teach colour grading as a freelance lecturer at SAE Institute Zurich and have been invited as a guest lecturer at the University of the Arts Stockholm.
My background in cinema continues to inform my approach to painting, particularly in the use of colour, atmosphere, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
